Just got to digging around in my external hard drive and I found some pics I thought had been lost forever. These are about the ONLY pics showing me on the net. I don't know why but I hate my face being on the open net. I'll prolly have a change of heart and take them down in a day or two. Thought I would share some past hunts regardless.

This (the bear) was quite the day, back when I was a complete dumbass in my early 20s. I want to say fall of 2002.

Thanks guys, that cat now graces my wall. That day was one of the biggest pucker factors I have ever had! He just didn't want to die!

Dog Hunter, great pics. That archery elk, looks like you shot him in the neck? On purpose? Looks like it worked out pretty well, just not something I've seen before. I'm sure a broadhead through the main arteries there would leave a great blood trail!

Poobah....that is because it reminds you of you and the day that cat almost drove 'ole Dixie down on you on the dark continent.

Quartering to me, arrow took the front of one and back of the other lung out. She went about 50 yards and left a blood trail that looked like steak sauce it was so thick. It was not my ideal shot, but the herd had me pegged and since there was no bull there, I took the shot I had on the lead cow.

A few more:
A close up of that same lion. He wasn't my biggest cat ever, but was the most exciting for sure.

Now that's REAL hunting Dog Hunter!!!

It hit home a few weeks ago, my 23 year old daughter and I are sitting in a Texas Hill Country deer blind over looking a nice shinny pile of corn. I'm dozing off and she asks...

"Hey Dad, can we get out and walk, to see if we can "hunt" one???!!!!!

JEEEEZ, I remember when I was asking my Uncle the same thing about 45 years ago...

When ya'll get too cold, come on down to Texas and we'll watch the corn pile together BUT, when it warms up, I'm comin up North with you guys and "HUNT" something !!!

Gonna pour another Bailey's over shaved ice, ghay but VERY tasty !!!

SLM, for the life of me I can't find that picture. Too many computer crashes I guess. I'll look a little more later. That cat took two .38s in the chest, then played dead. The dogs were released, and the cat came back to life. I had to keep kicking dogs out of the way and firing with my gun literally jammed into the cat's fur. I was straddling the wounded cat at this point, then my gun malfunctioned...good times.

Masta Gunz' (my dog) says thanks for the accolades. He's a total badass for sure, and pulls tail for me like no other.
