I will have you know, that THE key to accuracy,is minimal twist rate and as this rifle sets...16" is a leetle too much.

Were it 18" or so,I bet it'd do under 2" at 25yds.

Mebbe next time.

Somebody snookered ya. That ain't no Barska. That ring around the front part thingy screams Tasco. I have seen several of them but they were mostly silver, someone must have painted that one.

Dave.

What do you get when you cross a polar bear with a seal? A polar bear.

Did you hear they arrested the devil? Yeah, they got him on possession.

Should you feel compelled to keep this snooty attitude up...I will have no recourse but to report your behavior to a Moderator, take a Poll, start a Petition and then Pretend to put you on Ignore.

It is a sad state of affairs, when us new guys can't guess wildly, less repercussion(s) of the hurt feelings variety. I mean big deal,if someone has actually done the stuff we guess about, what is far more important is an environment in which everyone is a Winner. The free flowing of facts, hasn't nearly the affect as civility, regarding the pleasure of reading a Thread and participating in same. I would much rather someone talk pretty, than bore me with what really goes on.

Many here are lucky that I don't wield the Ban Hammer, because I get a lot of PM's from others with feelings hurt in exact fashion!

This may or may not be my last Post and you may or may not,be on Ignore.

For the record I will admit in public that I have some 16" twisted barrels. Three of them actually.

They shoot well out beyond 50 yards routinely.

Let's quit pickin' on B, he's on the right path.

HOW I LEARNED TO MIND MY OWN BUSINESS
I was walking past the mental hospital the other day and all the patients were shouting, "13....13....13"
The fence was to high to see over but I saw a little gap in the planks, so I looked through to see what was going on.
Some idiot poked me in the eye with a stick then they all started shouting, "14....14....14" grin

Seems we constantly hear about how Social Security is going to run out of money but we never hear about welfare or food stamps running out of money. What's interesting is the first group WORKED for their money but the other group didn't.

I can relate BD.
I was bore scoping a 16 one night,
With my big bore rod.
I loved it.
My rod loved it.
The 16 twist loved it.
It was beautiful.
Harmonic.
Like muskrat love.
Then her parents pulled in the driveway.

I sprinted straight to the "new" target as I refocused. ( Known as the back door) (and not the "good" back door you all are thinking of),
Seemed like at least a 50 yard target.
I lived.
I think we've all had a similar experience.........
