I have a like new Bell & Carlson medalist M40 tan/black web cut by Badger Ordinance for their M5 dbm Rem 700SA I put this on my 700 but has never left the house Also have a new PTG Stealth DBM and 5rd AI mag that will fit this stock. Sorry, I misread your post. I read the first line, B&C inletted with Badger DBM and bottom, missed your selling a PTG bottom metal, not Badger.

So, is the bottom metal pictured the bottom metal that goes with the package? If not, does the PTG fit snug and does it work without further modification?

Yes the pictured dbm is the Ptg stealth and fits perfectly on the sides...i did notice i had to shim to get it flush with the stock. I dont have a bo m5 to compare but ptg is supposed to be the same footprint.
