Damnit, he actually died from this. Was hoping they would have to resort to some kind of cranial-ballpeen hammer sort of thing.

The Russians I know would not have wasted a bullet, they would have just buried him.

I'd like to see a lion pit, or croc pit, as the form of capital punishment.

That should be fairly economical, effective, tidy, and have excellent deterrent value.

Can't you just inject an air bubble in someones arteries and kill them? Or did I watch too much Colombo as a kid. Air is free and you don't really need a clean needle do you?

This is true. We weren't told the doses but these two drugs given in the "right amount" will not only cause respiratory failure and lack at respiratory attempts but unconsciousness and just before that a intense a ante grade amnesia. There would be no conscious suffering or terror.

Of course if the doses weren't adequate..?

Would also make a great spectator/gambling event. Ticket sales and a cut of the betting proceeds could pay for feeding the animals on the slow days.

Too bad he didn't upchuck his last meal in front of his kids. That would have left a lasting memory of their dear old pappy. Hell has special places reserved for scum bags like this.

You boys are mean...

A horse tied to each appendage, each pointed at one of the main compass points. A starters pistol to send the horses on their way. Hopefully the first chamber is a dud so he can hear the click.

Well I am not going to loose any sleep over this turd, after all he had 25 years worth of appeals and somebody else to pay the bill. In the mean time he deprived Joy Stewart and her unborn child of their dignity, and civil rights. And they are upset that he might have had some breathing problems. Gee's the whole object of this was to deprive him of oxygen. A simple solution to all of this is a 32 ACP bullet to the Nap of the neck. The Soviets did in millions that way with little fuss. Hanging is fine by me, for this guy a wire noose would have been just the ticket.

Thanks....I'd even set it up so the condemned would release himself into the fray below him. A fall-away platform to stand on, that is held up by an overhead lever the condemned needs to keep in place by applying about 20 lbs of upward pressure on. When fatigue sets in, down you go.

You know the betting opportunities would be really exciting, probably better than the races.....grin.

Why didn't they just call down to Huntsville for some lethal syrup if they didn't have any? I think Texas has a small stockpile we could pull from.

A little rat poison in a glass of water would have done the job quite well. 24 years ago.

The Mayans had it right. If youre going to predict the future, its best to aim far beyond your life expectancy, lest you wind up red-faced in a bunker overstocked with Spam and ammo.
