to me, the best part of the sheath is the up tilt. This not only makes the butt of the knife more accessible, but it is an additional guard against the knife falling out.
Doug really formed the knife to the sheath, so it is a pretty tight fit.

I like the blade profile. Kinda reminds me of small chefs knife.
