When I first got hired by IBM back in 1977, I met some of the old timers in the machine shop we had at our facility (Burlington, Vt.).
Some of these guys had 40+ years in with IBM at that time. I was told that they were on a first name basis with T.J. Watson (founder of IBM), due to the fact that during the depression, they received IBM stock in lieu of pay !
WTF were these guys working for !!! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/help.gif" alt="" />
