Family and I are considering buying a pref point this year and trying to draw tags to hunt antelope there in 2015.

I've been all over the F&W web site and it's foggy at best.

I need a hard copy of the regulations to study.

Type 1 or 2? What's that? we'll hunt rifle and prefer the Sept hunt.

Has anyone here hunted the area before and can you shed any general information about it?

I don't have the regs in front of me, and the website is slow on my computer but type 1 vs 2 tags usually mean one side of a unit or another. Say Unit 48 type 1 is Unit 48 East of highway X and Unit 48 type 2 is for Unit 48 West of highway X.

The type 7 tags are normally doe/fawn. WY sure does make the regs confusing...

Just got the regs up...it looks like Unit 48 type 1 vs type 2 is just two different opening/closing dates, so disregard what I said above.

Disregard it for 48, but its still a good heads up because some type 2 area's do exclude parts of the unit..62-2 for example.
