Rather than hijacking the other oct-barrel thread, here are the details. Action is entirely made of Titanium, and is intermediate length. It's essentially a Mexican Mauser with square bridges. The only exceptions are the spring and plunger in the safety shroud, the spring in the trigger bow release, and the magazine spring. Those four items are steel, everything else is titanium. The barrel is CM and was made and contoured by HEYM in Germany. Stock is MPI. Satterlee installed the barrel on his action, and it was bedded by MPI. All required markings on the rifle were hand engraved by Rick Simmons. Scoped, it weighs 7 pounds on the nose. The first bullet I tried was the 160 Nosler Partition with H414. The NP isn't exactly a bench-rest accurate bullet, but I'm pleased with the results for a proven (and inexpensive) hunting bullet. These are 3-shot groups of 4 different powder charges of H414 and the 160 Partitions. It's at the stage now where everything is being checked before final finish. It should be coated, repainted and ready for plains game duty and back up on buffalo this summer.

It looks and shoots so poorly,I'd be incline to give you $75.00 for it,just to take it off your hands.
EXCEPTIONAL,FINE LOOKING RIFLE,I'M GLAD IT SHOOTS SO WELL FOR YOU,I normally don't like Mauser actions.

Thank you very much for posting these pictures and details. Your rifle is absolutely stunning.

Your rifle is fantastic! With the weak dollar, I hate to think what that action cost.

Very nice. Question? Why would you put a CM barrel on a Titanium action? dave
Only accurate rifles are interesting.

That is an awesome rig! I can't see a single thing I don't like about that rifle... Oh wait... Except that it's not mine!

Very nice. Does the action sell for $6500 or is that what they are asking for a complete rifle??

I have a CM barrel waiting to put on my Titanium receiver. Chris, are you still using a Balzer finish on your Ti rifles?
