That's some good [bleep]... maybe you should have them race for the title. "The Pimp vs. Uncle Jim" in the 70cc Pro-Stock Class, Paradise X-Games.

That would be a surprising thing to come up on.

AWESOME pictures guys, but how do you carry your rifles with these small bikes? Are these the model with a 3 speed tranny, any issues climbing hills?

3-speed,no clutch, they come geared nicely for what we do. Fill em full of gas and carry one.

Am thinking we all carry the same way, with the head through the sling, for a cross-carry.......................

Thanks Big Stick, when you say "carry one", do you mean that you carry a jerry can with you for the day? How long will they go on one tank?

thanks again,

We've carried one-quart-ish MSR bottles for extra fuel, but have rarely needed it. If I recall correctly, we've logged over 80 miles per tank of gas...and the top speed so far is 48mph downhill, according to my Garmin Rhino.........

The little suckers take hills fine, and are suprisingly nimble in the snow.

I have video of Uncle Jim towing a deer on a sled, in 6-ish inches of snow, uphill, without missing a beat.

Honda 70cc,can't know HP rating.

What's funny is,the saws I've been running since their inception in '91-ish,has 94/95cc(they bumped it a cc,a coupla years ago).

The 70's are geared very right,IMHO. Brother Dave has the Logging Road Land Speed Record at 52mph,via his GPS.

Am happy to let that record stand...................(grin)

They are a good time......hard to believe so much fun comes in such a little package. Trouble is, it's hard to hold back...I go into rally mode too easy, and it's a wonder I haven't lost any teeth yet.

The Pimp kept a close eye on me last time we rode together, he didn't want me anywhere near him, while underway......grin.......

Pre 2004 they were called an XR70. In 2004 Honda re-named them to CRF70F. In my locale they run $1100-1200.
