I like the Mark V with it's garish stock and all. Very cool & retro. My son has one in .300 Weatherby but some fool broke the garish stock and then dropped it in a cheap azz plastic stock. He only paid $400.00 for it so I think he did ok.

Boxer definitely has a unique personality, but I rather enjoy breaking out my decoder to decipher his posts and often get a kick out of his generic comebacks and put downs of the critters others shoot. You could put up a pic of a world record bear and he'll claim it's barely big enough for a pair of slippers and a toilet seat...
I also had my .22 Hornet punched out to K-Hornet based on his recommendation, and I ain't been disappointed.

Yep MarineHawk stepped over the line with that one. But when you work as hard as Boxer does to get under people's skin and be known as the site's A#1 A$$hole Supreme, I guess it's to be expected. Amazing how quickly a good thread can go to hell when the Great Blowhard starts chiming in and trying to piss everyone off.
Those who must raise their voice to get their point across are generally not intelligent enough to do so in any other way.
I saw too many problems with Mark V's when I was a Range Master. Included: were blown primers with factory ammo, general accuracy problems, and poor quality on some of the early Japanese built rifles. Usually only 3 or 4 locking lugs were bearing. It would have been better with 3 lugs. Nine little lugs are no advantage and increase cost.
