Mathew McConaughey plays the part of a "burned out narc" to absolute perfection in this series!!!
I began my police career in the late 1960's and tragically I came across numerous "burned out narcs" over the next 29 years!
The good news was as time went on "burned out narcs" became more and more rare.
Commanders in the Narcotics Divisions of the agencies I dealt with and was familiar with began keeping a closer eye on their detectives and regular rotation became policy.
Again Mathew McConaughey is nothing less than award winning quality in his role.
