Yep, "Third Bullet" is one of the few books that I've gotten over halfway through and not finished. It bogged down like a pickup in wet gumbo... I'm reading "I, Sniper" right now and I'm enjoying it. It's got a few fictitious details - such as the precision of the scope determining the point of impact rather than the precision of the firearm itself.

Yeah I really liked Pale Horse aw well, I think most here would enjoy it. I've read most or all of his books, and have enjoyed them all. Some a bit more than others, but all worth reading. Been trying to find an author lately whose books are consistently good, no luck so far. Might give Lee Child a try, the "Reacher" author, just finished all of his.
