The 4th pic is great. I always liked those rifles but NEVER seen one for sale in a shop. Does Winchester even make them anymore?

I played with one in a GS a few weeks ago. For what it is... it was a good gun.

Nevermind... I see where you answered that.

What did Joey think?

Nice looking collection. I would seriously like a Henry Golden Boy, but the way these old eyes shoot open sights it would be a waste of time. Hwck I had to scope my .32 muzzleloader to be able to shoot squirrels.

Joey is very excited, I told him we could shoot it tonight when he gets home from school.

Mine is scoped with a little 4X leupold, I really like it. I've shot plenty of grouse and rabbits with mine, an occasional wood chuck. Coolest thing I've taken with mine is a red fox.

The browning BL22 is very close to the Winchesters in that they both have super smooth little actions and fit/finish is very nice.

And I believe they still make the brownings.

Sweeeeet birthday gift.

I may need to start planning ahead like that. I just got my little-guy a "real" bow for his 6th B-day next July, since he is loving the toy bow with suction-cup arrows.

I talked to his wife awhile ago. He has congestive heart failure and pneumonia. A pretty tough thing to deal with when you have one at a time...let alone both at the same time.

He's doing as well as can be currently. I'll keep you guys updated as I find out more. As of now, she said they don't need anything as far as meals or snow cleaning.

Good news Tom! Too often in the case of those two problems, one masks the other...
