Help a brother out...looking for one for a new 2014 GMC 3/4 Ton. Haven't shopped for one in a long time. Who makes the best these days?

Bought a Leer used. Clearcoat then cracked everywhere but they couldn't do anything under warranty because I was not original owner.
Sold it and bought an ARE.
PS, I would not get a topper with the full glass "SUV" style door. They break and you are screwed, since you cannot just get the glass replaced like you can in a framed style door.

I have an ARE on my ford and my dad has one on his silverado. I like them. I don't have a problem with the windows leaking.

Have a ARE, bought it new. one of the plastic glued on trim pieces have fallen off, and the gas struts that hold the read window up SUCK! I'll have to replace those.
But, the paint has held up well, no leaks with the windows.

I've got a Leer and it's as good as any I'd wager.

Have a Leer for just at 10 years on a long box F350, and been very happy with it. One small crack in fiberglass has developed at the top left corner of the rear window, but I'v not attempted a repair yet. I'd buy another.

I've had several different caps, from different manufactures....
They all suck equally, therefore spend the least and go for value.
Two "top of the line" Leer gave me the most grief.
1500.00 bucks new, and two years later you'll be lucky to get 100.00 bucks for it.
Go for value.

I've always had Leer and they've always treated me well. The last two I've had were 100XR's that were cab height.
I don't think I could have a truck without a topper anymore. They're so handy and not that hard to take off if I need more room.
