just brought home a 94 takedown rifle in 38-55. this one was made very early 1900 has about 90% blue with very good wood but has been tapped for a receiver sight they did a clean job wondering how much this will take from the value and if winchester collectors may still be interested.
i know very little about winchesters opinions would be helpful.
thanks chris.

According to Fjestad's Blue book one made prior to 1929 in 90% would be worth about $1,100.00 plus another 20% for the takedown models. My advice is have it appraised or send some pic's and description to www.cherrys.com for an offer.
