Proven causes of clogged arteries:
Diabetes, high BP, smoking, high alcohol use, high cholesterol and high fat diet, lack of exercise and corresponding overweight.
Addition: Aging Aging. That's the hard one. If I last that long and probably will, I will turn eighty in November. I'm in great shape for an old goat but it sure would be nice if we could reverse that process. Unfortunately or fortunately it's not going to happen. Slow it down yes, reverse no.

I've been three to four days per week for about 10 years now and having those days of it great, but I'm afraid to quit entirely. I'm really not all that handy at fixing stuff around the place, the atmosphere is good for social contacts and the mind and I don't have to dip into the retirement fund all that much. Last year I asked if they want me to leave and they replied how about coming back full time.  No way!!!! Probably hang in till I can't do it and then crash.

I like Cliff bars but as others have said, they suck when it's cold. I mainly carry Lara bars anymore. +1 for Larabars.
