I have a model 94 Colt 45. How many firings can I expect to get from the Win cases when shooting cowboy (8 gr. of Unique) loads?
Also how may reloadings should I expect from Starline brass shooting heavy hunting loads such as a 325HC over 21gr of H110?

The rumor mill says the Winchester 94 has a larger than necessary chamber in 45 Colt so I would expect that heavy load to wear out cases a lot sooner than that lighter load. But Starline makes exellent cases. Cases don't really cost that much anyway. Shoot it and have fun.

I forgot to mention that I have a Ruger Bisley in 45 Colt and they are notorius for oversize chambers. I have shot heavy loads [32,000 c.u.p.] with Starline brass for over a dozen loadings with no problems. The Winchester brass I have will crack around the mouth from being crimped so many times after a dozen or so loadings.

This is the first time I've dealt with straight wall cases and was wondering what to expect (ie. head case separation becuase there is nothing to stop the case from stretching?). Sounds like the necks crack first.
The light loads are a blast to ring steel at 100 yards. I have not loaded the hunting rounds yet.
