Here's a Z3 4-12x50 on an Ed Brown Damara in .300 Win Mag. Scope is not that heavy and works great on the 6# Damara. It also has a custom turret.

VX-6 2-12 does better on a big gun, not my choice for a LW rifle.

Ok I have to ask, is that a Mcmillan weatherby express stock?

Mk V in a McWoody Sako Safari. 24" #3 Brux, 7RM with match chamber set up for 168 VLD's. Pillared, glassed, torqued and free floated. Factory trigger at 3#'s. A keeper.

Sweet. They did not mention that model when I spoke to them last week .

Seems they're calling it the Weatherby Express similar to the Sako 75 Safari.

IIRC, it was called Sako Safari, available lnletted for the Mk V when I ordered mine.

I have a Z3 3x9x36 on a Finnlight. Perfect combination IMHO. Adding a big bulky scope to a Finnlight defeats the whole purpose.

Hard to beat on a LW rifle.

I got the 4-12x50, as that was the only Z3 offered with a ballistic turret. Otherwise the 3-9 would have been my first choice.
