My son has a 1999 Dodge ram . One of his friends closed the passenger side door and the radio quite . The radio still has power . Today we took his radio and put it in my truck and it works fine . ANY IDEAS WERE TO START ???? Thanks

Just a guess, sounds like the antenna cable got damaged somehow when the door was closed. Especially when it works in your rig and not your son's. I would check that out first. Make sure it's not shorted, grounded , cut or pinched.

Do you have speakers in the door? If so, check the speaker wires for a break. You could have a bare spot shorting out everything.
