I wish they had a cash for trigger program. You send in the trigger and they send you $50 or whatever. I am getting a Timney. The heck with it. If guys are replacing these recalled triggers with aftermarket ones I hope the bad ones dont get out into the market.

I'm sending in a NIB, unfired 700 STS that I won at a Friends of the NRA dinner a couple of years ago.
Already waited two years, I'm gonna let Remington give it a whirl and see what they do.
ETA: it's a .243 Win., a caliber that I wouldn't have thought about buying into, but...it's a good cartridge.

If it's screwed up when I get it back, I'll not know any better since I never shot it in the first place!
THEN, I'll consider spending extra money for an aftermarket trigger.

That's how I'm going about it.
