Well I couldn't stand it any longer, CZ had the replacement barrels in stock so I went ahead and ordered one and some mags too. I'll get it chopped and threaded when it gets here and then mount it up and get running.
Anyone else have that WMR barrel on their 455? Good, bad, ugly?

So far, I get the best accuracy in mine with the Hornady 30gr Vmax ammo, consistent .5" 5 shot groups at 50yds. The Win 34gr JHP's do well also.

Clean the ever-loving Hell out of it before shooting. I don't know what kind of preservative they use, but it's HARD to remove, and accuracy will suffer until it's gone.
Mine shoots best with the Hornady 30gr. VM load. In fact, that's about ALL it shoots well. I'm not exactly happy with it.

on my 2 455's, I used aerosol action cleaner (CLP brand, I believe) to clean the grease out of the barrel. just put the nozzle in and blast for awhile.

Rifle shot pretty darn decent at distance out to 100 yards. I'll have to try different ammo to see what she likes the best. I'll try and get some pics next time. It was a pretty busy day there with the boy scout troop doing some shooting.
