Thoughts continue Roger. I laid next to my dear Mother as she drifted and went five years ago from cancer. My Father just could not do it. My wife did the same with her Mother four months later. Just days before this past Thanksgiving my wife did the same with her Father, cancer again. It will eventually pass and taking care of Pop's will be high on the list. At least it was for us.
Conduct is the best proof of character.

she has a bad infection that whith the toll of the Cancer has taken has left her barely hanging on . they kicked john out of the hospital, guess its not good to have a family made up of RNs there. my prayers sent for your Mom and those responsible for her treatment and care as well as you and your family
