Dropping big bucks at near 500 yds with a 16.5" carbine would not bore me Seems you do some varmint hunting as well too...

Boring bugholing = Pure confidence and ZERO excuses when we miss. That is the downside, if you want to call it...placement rests entirely on the shooter when your gear shoots like these tools do.

Well, it looks like you are stuck in a rut, time to buy an M1A.

I already have one, I actually had it for 11 years or better. The day I purchased it I ran 2 mags through it, cleaned it, locked it in the safe and haven't shot it since.
