Gents. We all have long standing Pards that we have shared hunting and fishing camp with. Many a bitter cold day and night, sunny beautiful days inthe mountains. LOTSA drinks by the 'fireside. 20 years on the job with the cops and we had many of the incredibly hilarious things happen and some of the absolute hairiest things happen. Then they are gone. No explanation. Just gone. Tough to wrap one's mind around. Now his name goes on the R.I.P. list on the camp plaque. Damn......well spoken. RIP, my condolences and prayers for all those who lost a friend/family member/brother.

Long time friend and colleague,worked with him for 20 years before he retired. He had been a regular drop in visitor to our hunting camp. Killed in a motorcycle accident last night. US Navy Veteran of the Vietnam War. Roy Edwardson. Goodbye FRIEND,Be at Peace.  Very sorry to read this Big Jim, RIP Soldier Edwardson. Gunner

Jim, I am truly sorry for your loss.
Sounds like your friend lived a full and honorable life, and like HaJ I don't mourn the manner of his passing either.

Man, I know how that hurts. I lost a very close friend, gun show partner, hunting buddy and confidant to a motorcycle wreck as well a couple of years ago. Keeps me on my toes while riding, as well as inside lots of protective gear most of the time.
Rest in Peace to your friend, and condolances to you, Jim. Tuff stuff all the way around.
