Do you like that Jackson Hunter stock on the Cooper? I considered a centerfire today in the Jackson Hunter configuration. Have held a classic stock but not the Jackson.

I'm pretty sure my 50 group was every bit as good as your cooper. Plus u never told me we were competing. So I didn't even try that hard. I want a rematch.

So is there any real data here, or does one simply prefer one over the other?

What a great idea using an ironing board for a shooting bench! How much did you spend for the Cooper? for the CZ? It's not quite an apples to apples comparison. Both great guns in there respective price range. Cooper took the gold @50 & 100 yards. gotta love these .22's, both are fantastic rimfires.

It's a 455 American I bought this spring as a 22/17 combo. Haven't shot the 17 yet. Put in a dip mag well and extended mag release and doing a yo Dave kit tomorrow. Pretty happy with performance so far. This is with eley subsonic hollow points at 50. 5 shot groups. The flyer was all my fault.

Thanks. I planned to get that scope and just took a chance on a impulse order of a Bushnell Legend with side focus. I dont know what I was thinking? Looked at one at the local shop, the focus seemed very fast. Maybe appropriate enough for a Ruger American.
Seeing your targets has renewed my interest in a CZ. I might try one? If i do, I will reconsider Nikon. Nice glass on nice old school wood stock gun.
Thank you for the post.
