Mink. A lot of ranch mink, of different colors have been lost into the wild, so some pretty bizarre colors are seen out there these days.

It could be a black mink, but I was thinking it may be the black phase of an albino squirrel since it appears to have a sorta "bushy" tail. Jus' can't tell for sure from that picture. Strength & Honor.... Ron T.

might be a mountain lion.. black panther....
but really it is a mink.

Not sure what part of the country you live in, but down here it would be a mink (we dont have martins and fishers).
In the 7th grade, we lived in Indiana, and I worked on a mink farm. The mittens to handle mink have 5 layers of leather on the back of the hand and you could still feel the teeth prick you hand.
