Great ND! I have been telling people about the ice up at your place and they are amazed.
Man, what a weekend. 3 days on the lake swimming, tubing, skiing, etc. My kids are completely worn out. In fact, they are still sleeping, which NEVER happens with my kids. They are all early risers so to have even 1 of them sleep to 7 is rare. To have all of them sleeping at 7:55 is unheard of!
When I hear of something like tuna fishing, I am reminded of all the things there are to do in life that one never gets to do!
Now that the 4th has passed, do we get to look forward to fall?

Our remodel is done,had our first weekend of everything back to normal..
Kids had a great 4th as well...Been on the lake everyday since Thursday..Just swimming were still no wake here. I think pretty soon they will lift it. My daughter got a pair of learning water skis for her B-day.. Shes itching to go...
I will be elk and mule deer hunting in WY this fall...Cant wait to run around in the mountains...

I got a message from the gopher that he's not doing well. He's trying to get to the doc today. I'll give an updated when I get one. Now that the 4th has passed, it's time to start looking at where to sit in the bushes. The days are getting shorter, so it's creeping up on us! I put in for my lisc. app for SD to shoot one of Ryan's monster bucks he's tied up for me. If I don't draw, it should be HUGE next year.  I have a young lady that is going to hunt with me this year. You may have seen her in the turkey hunting pictuers. I'm pretty excited because my little girl has never shown much interest in deer hunting. She'll be taking hunters safety this fall.

youth tags out here are $10 I believe. season runs from sept 1 - jan 15th I think as well.
goes for anyone who has kids and wants to take them on a hunt they will never forget. it's antlerless only. I can steer folks in the right direction

not OTC, you have to buy them through the mail or website. but there is no limit. statewide any antlerless (deer mule deer or whitetail) http://gfp.sd.gov/hunting/big-game/deer/youth.aspxBuschy - if you want to come out here by me send me a PM, I'll hook you up. I saw the slab today!
They had the buffers out putting on the finishing touches when I stopped by.
The project will go fast now.
I fully expect to have a cup of coffee poured from the shop coffee pot this weekend.
