If you can find some. Go LRAB. Or fool us all and go 220 CLRN. For the win.
If I can find, which?
The Bergers or the Nosler?
Travis
You're likely to get the Berger Hybrids or LRAB to shoot better than the VLD: SAAMI chamber, mag length, etc.
The Hybrids have a more stout jacket, as others have mentioned, and I haven't heard much about how they do when the velocity gets way down low.
I'd start with LRAB over Hybrids because they do open easily, and they haven't been sensitive to seating depth. Same with 208 Amax.

I haven't been able to find any for sale. There may be other small dealers that I don't know about. I did get on the Berger site, pull up the list of online dealers, and start checking their websites. You might find someone on the fire here who would sacrifice some on the alter of deflave.

Sierra MK. I'm told 8208 is the least temp sensitive powder the big boys have ever tried. May help you up there in your part of the world.

Looks like Butch's also have the 190 LRAB, and the 185 Hybrid. The 200 has been the one I want to play with.

I would bet two things:
1.) He can't afford a Chrony.
2.) He never heard of the internet.
UBER!

Tried a bunch of schit in my 7.62's...just about everything shot well, even the 208's with RL17.
Finally settled on the Skinners...just a kick ass bullet. Accurate, and Pat's thread proved to me it can take anything I hunt. Sure makes it easy at the reloading bench. Just keep them close to my Varget...
This was at 578 yds over the hood of a Jeep with a fixed 6x. But in the interest of full disclosure it was a Finnish Tikkler....
It ain't what you don't know that makes you an idiot...it's what you know for certain, that just ain't so... Most people don't want to believe the truth~they want the truth to be what they believe. Stupidity has no average...
