Very nice! The 404J is certainly a really cool cartridge. Just a humble suggestion. I don't know their recoil limits but wonderful sight option would be tiny rail plus tiny Aimpoint dot sight with larger dot. I pick cheaper one w/o night vision device coupling capability. The when adjusted correctly the bullet goes where the dot is pretty much independent of stock weld and at appropriate dot intensity setting battery life is equal to shelf life of battery (thousands of hours)).

With a chunk of nilgai loin and a case of Becky Creek, you'll be Boss of the hog hunt. so next year it's a case of Becky? I thought six bottles lasted us until the last day! I think I can get into a cow nilgai for not much money, so it might indeed be an option. Have to consult with our cookmeisters LT and Dan on what they think... 6 will last unless were consuming nilgai, makes ya thirsty.

Nice rifle, Tico. I have one like it in .416. It's sitting in the garage with the bedding drying and waiting to have a 2.5x Leupold heavy duplex mounted. Also, have a .404 on a 1917 in the works.
