Just a humble suggestion. I don't know their recoil limits but wonderful sight option would be tiny rail plus tiny Aimpoint dot sight with larger dot. I pick cheaper one w/o night vision device coupling capability. The when adjusted correctly the bullet goes where the dot is pretty much independent of stock weld and at appropriate dot intensity setting battery life is equal to shelf life of battery (thousands of hours)).

so next year it's a case of Becky? I thought six bottles lasted us until the last day!

I think I can get into a cow nilgai for not much money, so it might indeed be an option. Have to consult with our cookmeisters LT and Dan on what they think...

6 will last unless were consuming nilgai, makes ya thirsty. laugh

After looking at the 375, 416 rigby and 458 lott I decided those were too common and I was asked to look at the 404 jeffery. After reading up on it and its place in African history I decided I wanted one. I started looking for them online but the price being asked for one was enough that I decided I would have one made for me instead of buying one used. I had discussed the project with my gunsmith and had found a donor and was looking for blanks for the stock before I ran into a deal I just couldn't pass up without the year and a half waiting time so i jumped on it. So here is my big boy gun in 404 jeffery. It is a CZ 550 Safari Classic. As i understand it the action is sent over from the Czech Republic where it is custom made here from that point. Please keep a look out for it in the classifieds after I shoot it :-)

Nice rifle, Tico. I have one like it in .416. It's sitting in the garage with the bedding drying and waiting to have a 2.5x Leupold heavy duplex mounted. Also, have a .404 on a 1917 in the works.
