I've worn OR Crocks for 25 years. They are a little noisy but somehow I've managed to kill quite a few elk while wearing them. I bought some Kuiu Gaters a couple of weeks ago and they seem to be modeled after the OR's with one improvement, a snap at the bottom of the Velcro. Just wearing them for a short time in the woods last weekend (it was too warm for a real test) they seem to be a bit quieter than the OR crocks. The four-way stetch material is pretty neat. Time will tell.

Good luck SS, and like Mudhen said, take some good pics. I'm driving up Wednesday too. You can never leave too early for a hunting trip.
