I bought this pistol in the middle to late 80's, and I was going to replace a 70 series Colt 1911 with it but I love that old Colt. I was shooting plates and this Detonics was the best replacement that was out there at the time. It has a 2.5 pound trigger and is very accurate. I haven't had any problems with it and would guess that it's had around 500 rounds fired from it. I'm in Dallas right now and would love to sell it to someone local.
