I have probably burned more 414/760 in my 7mm-08s than any other single powder. It was the most consistently accurate powder I tried (out of many). It was also faster than most. More recently I have also burned up some Big Game with fine results. While I generally favor extruded powders in many cartridges, in the 7mm-08 I prefer the powder 'density' the finer powders offer.

if you're loading ~150's.... what kind of velocities were you getting? I have plenty of time to piddle with it between now and the 2016 season, but probably wont unless I can significantly improve on ~2660fps while still maintaining excellent accuracy.

My Savage 14 has a 22" bbl.

I killed a 4x4 Roosevelt bull last year with my 7-08 using 140 gr Partitions. Big Game powder, MV 2870 ft/sec.

I switched to 140 Accubonds this year (easier to load) and I got slightly better accuracy at similar velocity.

I'll be carrying it again for elk this year. I killed a nice antelope with it already this year.

Switching a load for daughter's 22" 7-08 from 140AB to 150BT due to significantly better accuracy. Elks.

Big Game powder provided the best accuracy/fps for the 140s, but for the 150s in the 2730-2750 area, it was a bit hot (with this rifle) and showed noticeably in bolt lift.

Have lots of RL17 and am now giving it a go to try a little slower powder. I imagine the 4350s are the about the same. Let me know what you end up with and will do same.

Hunter is the Ramshot powder I'd try for 150's. I use Big Game for the 140 Accubond in the 7-08. I'm loading 46.5 grains for the 140 Accubonds and accuracy is stellar. Velocity is way up there too...

140gr Partitions out of a 7mm-08 have been every bit as deadly as any 150-180gr bullet of of a 30-06 for us... Always wanted to try the 120gr TTSX.

My gun doesn't like 140 grain projectiles. I've tried three different 140 gr bullets, and none did as well as the 150.

Have never tried Ramshot Hunter. The burn rate chart has it about like RL19, so I never have sprung for any, as have RL19 on hand and my first assumption was that RL19 might be a tad slow in the small case.

Bought a jug of RL17 when it was supposed to be rocket science for a 06 "project" and hoping it finds a home this weekend in the 7-08 under 150s...if that doesn't do it, will tap into the 4350. H4350 works as well for me in the 7x57 as RL19 for 140s both in velocity & accuracy, & now prefer it for the cold.

Ramshot Big Game works for me under 140s in the 7-08--though with the 120g NBT it's the best powder I have tried and that combo negates the "small case" talk.

This particular 7-08, a re-barreled (cut rifling) M-700 mountain rifle just about drove me nuts trying to get it to shoot any 140 weight bullet. As ususal I tried the fix last, in the form of 150s, although all the tweaks along the way didn't hurt.
