gunswizard Campfire Ranger G Joined: Feb 2010 Posts: 17,801	Glad to hear that the surgery went well, I stood on my new hips just 4hrs. after surgery. Before leaving the hospital I walked the length of the hallway and climbed and decended steps. In my case I did PT on my own 2x/day, the therapist visited 2-3x/wk. Take your pain meds 30min, prior to PT and ice 30min. after and you'll do fine. Above all DO NOT do more than the therapist prescribes. Best of luck with your recovery.
