FWIW, I've had good luck with this load in both a Kimber Montana and my Sako Varmint............. One can probably find a faster loading, but I for one will trade accuracy for velocity. JAFO, GWB

120gr Nosler BTs are accurate and effective on whitetails in all three of my 260s.

Most common loads I run in mine for deer hunting, are a 100 grain bullet with a 43.5 gr charge of 4064, which gives me an MV of 3350 out of a 22 inch barrel Ruger... and 3400 fps out of a 26 inch barrel on a Model 700 Varmint or a Model 70 with an aftermarket barrel on it...
have had success in the field, with 100 grain Ballistic Tips, 100 grain Partitions, 100 grain Hornady SPs, and 100 grain Sierra HPs... 100 to 300 yds plus...
no flies on the 120s, 129 SP, Corelokt 140s or the other major manufacturers 140 grainers...125 partition...
the round isn't finicky when it comes to powders, to be made accurate...

123 Scenars are a good balance of BC and speed IMO

Anyone had luck with 127LRX? Don't think a 1:9 will spin them... I've had good results w/ the LRX's out of my 6.5CM w/ 8.5" twist. Hope to test on game (along w/ 123 Scenars) this year. David

This thread just took a very disturbing turn. OH MY! But seriously.... Seems like there is a darth of factory 260's as far as I can tell. Always have my ear to the ground. Good luck.
