Phil, IIRC, the Zoli 450/400 NE 3" pictured in the special edition is yours. All arguments re SxSs vs. O/Us aside, that looks like a quality rifle.

I also have an electronic subscription to Rifle, Handloader and Successful Hunter but I picked the Big Bore issue at the grocery store. It would have been nice to be able get it electronically.

I can't keep up with these special editions.

They gave me a false sense of how this works when the lever action ones were included with my subscription.

Last time I almost missed one I called and they explained that I had to see it advertised in the magazine and order it. So I did. Luckily.

Now I need some sort of system to keep track of when they come out and whether or not I've purchased it. It would be much easier if they just allowed me to choose it and pay for it at the time I renew my subscriptions.

How long has this special edition been out and what does the cover look like. I'm too disorganized to even remember what the last special edition was that I purchased.

You would think it might be shown on their website - being in the business of selling these things and everything - but no. Oh well.

Zoli makes a great rifle that are a real sleeper in the world of doubles.
I took PH Robin Hurt to the Zoli booth at SCI and showed them to him and that afternoon two of his PH's walked over a bought two of them in 450/400.

I did a feature on them in the March 2011 issue # 255 of Rifle magazine
