2007, with the LC9.

Consumption is still about 5/8 qt. in 5K miles - no real change from the conventional oil. I used to see an occasional drip, but that's stopped since the switch. The only really noticeable difference was that it turned over much more easily during last Winter's really cold spells.

I figure I'll just stick with the MaxLife.

FC not sure if you have mentioned this before but is there a way to turn off AFM?

Yes. One can buy a tuning package that will bypass it. Doing so will supposedly void the warranty, but I'm long since out of that, anyway.

The cheap way to do it is to just drive in "D" instead of Overdrive. That prevents it from going into the so-called, "V4" mode.
