I run on to those occasionally up here and the guys that have them love them. One of my friends has one. It handles like a wand and he loves it for moose. Great rifle and a great friend you have there.

Chronographs, bore scopes and pattern boards have broke a lot of hearts.

Those potato launchers are fun and they are about as sweet a handling rifle as there is.

WAAAAY cool!

I am continually astounded at how quickly people make up their minds on little evidence or none at all.

Tom- didn't see any reports on how the 9.3 shot….did you run into any issues with hand loads. I ran accross an old Handloader article (April 2013) by Gil Sengal on a 46 in 9.3X57. Might be worth a read if you have a copy. Regards, Bruce

I took it out and shot the little bit of Norma factory ammo that I had for it, and it did nicely. With the barrel sights I was able to get about 2" groups at 100yrds.
I've been on mandatory OT with work since before the holidays and haven't had the chance to put together any handloads for it or get it out again. Everything is here and waiting on me.
