Im an ass-hole at work all the time. Being a Republican union member isnt easy But, I got a big heart. And anyone coming through taking donations usually gets a $20...people going through tough times need it more than me. But, I tend to be very critical of who I give money too. Good/bad I watch people and judge easy. I kept seeing 2 guys frequently asking for donations, which isnt unusual in a union due to some being on community service committees, but these two were different. Very rarely a card to sign, skipping certain people, routinely asking for donations toward to end of the month, etc etc...ill guarantee they were lining their pockets. Never gave to those 2 again, and wont.

"Fundraisers" selling product are a very inefficient method of paying bills. If anything, give them a straight donation of money and skip the food altogether.
Such fundraisers are simply about the party feeling "good" about themselves for "doing something" rather than truly aiding the financial burden.
