Good time! My best times Denver to Miles City or reverse back when (late 70's) was under 8 hours for 500.1 miles apt. to my FIL. Average 65 - 68mph. Getting out of Denver, going thru Cheyenne, Douglas (gas stop), Gillette, and Broadus slowed me down a mite.
Especially if the cops saw me first..... after the first year (of two) of monthly trips, a couple of those boys in Gillette and I were on first-name basis....
In the second year, a few times they just flashed their lights at me going by.
I kinda liked those guys.
