I remember the "Sambo's" Restraunts, they were good places to eat, and the story of little black Sambo was on the menu's and was the decor along the walls.
On the topic of lures, somewhere I have a "Peanut" (rebel brand, I think)lure made in the likeness of Jimmy Carter with a big ole grin and all.

I never have understood how the heck LBS got turned into a racist story. IIRC recall, Sambo outsmarted the tigers to escape them.

Never thought of using them for bait for anything other than gators..... Beat me to it Ingwe. I was fixing to post that if you brought that down here to South Louisiana, you could catch a mess of gators, not to mention a few garfish and choupique ( bowfin or grindle for non-Cajuns)  .

I remember a childs book I had as a kid that was titled the same...it was about a hindu kid & a tiger... I had that one as a kid too. Seems like I remember that tigers turn into butter if they circle a tree enough times.
