The pentagon is saying that they can't find any record of deaths caused by the search for Bergdahl. I suspect that some died and they're attributing them to something else. Anyone know what the truth is?

Anyone know what the truth is? My understanding is that's exactly what they're doing. Like everything else though, it depends on which news agency you listen to....which in it's self is a sad statement for the mindset of this country. Desertion in a combat setting is right down there with child molestation as far as I'm concerned.

The thing is that he volunteered for the Army, as far as I am concerned all bets are off- either a 40 year term in the Stockade, or put up against the wall for desertion in front of the enemy! The Army only works if there is discipline, with out it an Army is nothing but a rabble and a rabble dies on the battlefield! For to long things have been allowed to slide! War is not a game, its for keeps some how we as a Nation have forgot that little fact!

I think the colonel is asking the public at large to consider ALL the costs of war.
Sycamore F'k him, the LTC, and the leftist/defeatist SOB who fall for this schit. Bergdahl should be hung for desertion and the deaths of those that looked for him. The LTC tried for aiding and abetting the enemy, and those that support this schit for utter stupidity and baseline treason. kind of ironic, compared to your signature, don't you think? Not at all, if you had a f'kin' clue. That SOB is an enemy of this nation and of our men and women in uniform. No surprise you can't see that and side with the reprehensible disgrace.
America needs to understand that our troops are not 'disposable'. Each represents a family; Fathers, Mothers, Sons, Daughters, Cousins, Uncles, Aunts... Our Citizens are our most valuable treasure; we waste far too many.
