Man that looks good. I was walking through the grocery store today and spied their feeble attempt at a pecan pie. $13 and it didn't look 1/2 that good. Well done.
They say everything happens for a reason.
For me that reason is usually because I've made some bad decisions that I need to pay for.

Thanks me too! On my way to Charleston. I stopped through Goldsboro, NC at The Nahunta Pork Factory for some fresh sausage and other pig goodies. On the way out of town there was my old buddy of many years still selling the season's best pecans. As usual, I was good for 20 lbs of pecans and an additional ten bucks for his church plate. We had a couple of historic laughs about the past and bid a fond farewell until next season. I fear the year he's not sitting in that drive-way. Needless to say, there will be lots pf pralines and pecan pie in the house for the holidays. Even the sweet potatoes will be pecan topped. And for you yanks that's pe-cans. As in a can of peas!!
