My brother just turned 60. He has been divorced three times and is getting ready to marry a young 30 something honey. What are the pros and cons of this?

why does she want him would be the big question for me? Especially, if I were him.

I'm not 60 but I have dated within that age gap and unless the lucky lady was smart and super mature then I only found drama, which led to THE END!

Just because the numbers says she is 30 doesn't mean her body does. He may act and look younger than her.

If I was writing a guaranteed recipe for a failed marriage, the 1st paragraph would include a 30 year age difference.

I can only say, I am 71, and I married a beautiful woman 21 years young nearly 47 years ago.
She is even more lovely today.

Damn I thought I was bad for thinking of marrying a 28 year old at age 43.

30 year old marrying a much much older man would be for "stability" more than likely in my thinking?

I would tend to not believe she is in it for the "relationship" but for other reasons? I would strongly encourage him to do a Pre Nuptial Agreement if he goes the married route!

That arrangement is nothing that the magical combination of a prenuptial agreement and a Viagra prescription can't handle.

yup and if she's 30 how many kids does she already have who can't be more than say 12? In fact, how many times has she been married????

my last boss was 61 when he married a 30 something filipono mail order guess it worked out ok they have a kid together. looked like she was a whore in her younger days not really into as

I am over 60 and I married a 20 year old. That was 40 years ago, I wasn't 60 then, but I have never been sorry...

At age 63 I gave a 28 yr. old a try. When we met she told me she had 2 children, a little later she admitted she had 2 more that "she never saw". Must be a pretty good reason for that, father of the two she had custody of was an intervenous drug user and was in prison on drug charges. Turned out it was all about money, constantly asking for loans and struggling, no job and constant drama. Pulled the plug on her pretty quickly, still hasn't repaid any of the "loans" not that I expected her to after not repaying of the first. Nothing more than a parasite who plays on other's sympathy for her kid's situation. Other details that came out over time were that Dad was a biker, Mom prostituted herself at times to help pay the bills and the kids stole food in order to eat.

i advise he stay close to his age. Two 30 year olds would be ok.
