My first wife left me when I was 29. dated a BUNCH of 21-24 year old girls.
Finally figured out these "bar flies" were just looking for a sugar daddy to support them and there kids.
Finally met a gal two years older than me, who had a steady job and NO kids.
Been married to this one for 29 years.

I can only say, I am 71, and I married a beautiful woman 21 years young nearly 47 years ago.
She is even more lovely today.
So, draw your own conclusion.
I'll say I am married to a younger woman. wabigon: No offense intended. But I don't understand how your situation relates to this topic. You're 71 and you got married 47 years ago. That means you were 24 when you got married. Your wife was 21 at the time. That means you were 24 and she was 21. There's only a three year difference. What am I missing? KC

Tell him to stay within his own generation.
A woman 30 years younger is NOT marrying for love, period. She has ulterior motives, and it is likely to be money. Just because he doesn't have much, doesn't mean she does' want it. Money, security.
If she is foreign, then she'll want her family supported. Might be her "brother" that needs a visa is really her husband. Don't think the randy little twat won't be off flat backing with somebody her own age sooner or later, bitching about the "cold old dude" she lives with.

My ex wife got married today.
My sister and my mom drove up for the wedding.
I guess I could have sat around and pondered the situation if I was of a mind to,...but they're all women,..so I wouldn't have reached a conclusion.
It's just one of them Ann Landers letters,..yanno?
Anyway,...there's some man out there married to my ex,.....be damned if *I* can rationalize how his mind works.

Well what ever. I married a cradle robbing woman who is eleven months older than I am. I guarantee that she didn't marry for money 'cause I didn't have any. I'm not sure it's going to work but we will have been married for 43 years on January 8th.

My brother is 65 and has just married his fifth wife. She is 38 and has a 16 year daughter. His past three wives were all under 30 when he married them. They were wall very nice but when they found out he really didn't have the money they thought he had, they divorced him. There will be nothing you can say that will make him change his mind, so I would do what my family did; accept her and try to have something in common with her while she is married to your brother. Unless he is very wealthy, it will not be too long. My brothers longest, after the first, lasted less than five years. The one before this...18 months.

A woman doesn't have to be 20 or 30 years younger to be in it for the money. My ex was a year younger than I, and all it was ever about was money.
Ever since she's gone, I have all the money I can dream of spending. Funny how that works out.... !

I've had one the same age,one a little older than me and the current one is 10 years younger..I like this one the best

Had an uncle who married a young Colombian girl. Seems like he was 58 and she was 18 when they married.
This was actually his calmest and sanest marriage, by my lights.
Previously he had been married to two different women and had 2 different sets of kids at the same time. Must have been a ton of money in Minneapolis construction in the 60s and 70s...
