From the way it looks this morning, there won't be any snow on the ground for Christmas in my part of South Central Montana!
Of course, that could change before the day is over!!

Beautiful sunrise though!!

Good morning all. 35* now w/ a high of 59* expected. I am taking my grandson out to Cold Creek to shoot today and it will be cooler at 6000' but hopefully not too windy. Winters in the Desert are as good as the summers are bad.

Merry Christmas to all

High winds and rain for the next few days here along with mild temperatures, but nothing bad enough to hinder travel. I have no idea what the weather is where I am traveling to, but sometime between now and then I should figure that out I guess....

We got an inch a couple of days ago and some of it is still on the ground. There will probably be enough left tomorrow morning that we can claim a white Christmas. More on the way tomorrow evening.

white here Sammo, -15 when I woke up, sposed to warm up to close to zero which is good

gonna go saddle some snowmachines in an hour or so and break trail to the cabin.

we could use more snow to insulate the ground and smooth out the trails

but ya get what ya get and just deal with it

We've got a few patches of old snow left from the last one that's been melting off. Rain/snow mix forecast for today and 1-3 inches of snow forecast for tonight. We may just wake up to fresh snow in the morning...
