Uses Trojan.Mdropper.
Encrypted JavaScript, decrypts a powershell script which runs a binary program. then calls up 178.89.159.34 and 178.89.159.35 which then downloads 2 different Trojans. Powerliks, powerliks!GM. Which attacks syswow64 or syswow32 and creates a auto dialer for adware.
First links to try and call up are e997a.com, IP 195.2.241.167, Searchnet.Blinkxcore.com, and Napstat. Exe.
Initial release 8/14
Latest release 11/26/14

There you go Rick, hope it helps and that the money is worth it. Got me twice off of your site. Know it's the fire as I saw the powershell box pop up to load the executable.

Doesn't effect my iPhone or iPad .

I refuse to believe that I've spent 11 years here and haven't seen the troubles so many others post about.

Never caught a virus from here, never had the problems with the ads, back button always works.

Maybe I'm doing something wrong.

I never caught a virus from this site. I have a great anti-virus program though.
I have to admit that this site is really messed up though.
Hey Mr. Rick, maybe you should do some house cleaning on your site. It's laughable

It seems reasonable to me that the problem is here rather than with my computer, because I don't have problems elsewhere. Many times I give up and move on.

I think it would be helpful when anyone has a problem to identify the platform on which they are viewing the 'Fire; e.g. PC laptop, Apple laptop, iPhone, Android phone, tablet, etc.

Forum software may not be 101% compatible with all of them all of the time.

Of course, some just need FF, Malwarebytes, Avast, and CCleaner.

Here's the solution. Go to walmart and buy the cheapest android phone they have. Use the browser that comes on it. Don't be dicking around with any add on browsers or pop up blockers. If you ever have a problem go into "my stuff" and clear your cookies. I laugh every time one of these threads comes up and my $80 phone is running like a top while guys who've spent good money on their equipment can hardly use the fire.

There's about a half million different computer/operating system/browser combinations out there and each one is affected differently by the crap on this site. For those of you that have devices that aren't affected, good on you and count yourself lucky. All your crowing about how everyone else is a dumbass because they don't have the right android phone, combo of google chrome, etc. might bite you in the ass one day though. I have had major issues on this site and had to jump through hoops and resort to using a browser from a company I hate to be able to continue to use it. It works OK for me now but neither I nor all the other guys that are having trouble should have to jump through their butts constantly modifying their computer to make this crud infected site work. How about fixing the problem at it's root? If half the people coming here are having problems here and not anywhere else then it's not them, it's this site.

I've used a ton of different devices and systems over the last decade plus while being here. Laptops, tablets and phones - not a single one has ever had an issue on this site or any other site.

Maybe I don't visit some of the same places others do that catches the the problems that show up.

I don't know. I do know that if something bothered me so much that I wasn't enjoying it - I'd stop doing it.

Instead people getting something for free refuse to get something else for free to fix an issue and then post thread after thread about how pissed they are that one free thing isn't perfect.

Just gets damned old.

Seems strange, but this type of thread comes up about every 3 or 6 months. Guys bitch, Rick fixes some thing and it all goes away for another 3 or 6 months.

I run either IE or MSN and usually have no problems. But when I start to get a message that something prevent cross scripting, I know it's about time again. However, this is the only site/forum that I ever incur problems with.

I have been around here for a long time and I don't remember all this happening before Rick started with all the advertisements. But it's his free site, he is welcome to fix or not fix it.
