This was recovered from a doe that was ranged at 176 yds. on a ridge line. She was quartering toward me. Hit in the shoulder, found the bullet in the far side ham under the skin.
Shot from a Savage ML10 with 66 grains of 4198.
This was after her partner expired 10 mins. before in a thicket

This is the load I use in mine. It was slowly worked up to. I would strongly suggest anyone not to start out with this load as every gun is different. I personally take no responsibility for anyone using this load in their gun without properly working up to it. Your particular gun may not tolerate this load.
