No rust or pitting. It does show a little wear and chipping on trigger guard but nice over all.

I would hate to see what you call average or poor condition.
The barrel is full of bullet jacketing and aged white powder corrosion just from the glimpse in the picture I bet. It Looks like the muzzle has been riding on the floorboard of a pickup for awhile. And it looks like someone was bored in the deer stand and started picking at the coating on the trigger guard for something to do to pass the time away. Not to mention the off tone different shades of blueing wear in the pictures. And the trigger being almost silver. God knows what the floor metal looks like after hand salts never being wiped off it. And it being a .270 and a Remington really makes it perfect for a gay dude who wont take of his firearms. Pretty narrow market I would say,seeing as how most gay dudes are pretty anal about taking care of their stuff. laugh
