I'm waiting for someone here to offer gold for $500 an ounce, [bleep] 'market' prices.

I still don't see what the deal is with people asking a price, whatever that price might be.

When someone else posts a price that is more then I want to pay, they are blood-sucking scum scalpers. When I do the selling, it is good business.

It's not just the about the prices Steelie, it's the whole current hoarding thing.

I stopped shooting 22 ammo so I can be sure my son will have enough to shoot when we hit the range or go up in the hills.

That don't make me happy.

Folks like Sweetwillie are making it worse for shooters and the current firearms environment . We're all in it together, except for the Sweetwillies of the world.......

Here's a question. Let us say you bought item X for $100 dollars. You didn't use item X. Wouldn't you like to at least try to get what you paid for item X, if possible?

So what you are telling me is that you know what price he paid for said ammo? Lets see he bought it all from the scalpers you hate for $1000, but can no longer shoot. The market is what the market is and he decides to try to sell it for $100 loss, that makes him the enemy?

What I paid is irrelevant.

The only thing that matters is what someone else is willing to pay me for it now.

.22 ammo ain't that hard to find online for $3.50/50. It will get cheaper and the fact that we're starting to see it in stock in more places gives me some hope.

It will only get cheaper and become available when dumbazzes stop paying scalper prices and force the scalpers to unload their stockpiles for cheap. As far as I'm concerned, scalpers do NOT set market prices.

But that's my opinion....and you know what they say about those.

Let's look at this a different way. Yes the OP has a potty mouth and I am not defending him as I dont know him from Adam BUT.. If you guys buy a NIB Remington Titanium 260 for $800 off of someone who had no clue what they had but you knowing good well its worth say $1800. Why should you have to sell it for $800 just to keep people off your back. Now say you paid $3000 for said rifle, now your asking $2000. You're taking a $1000 loss on a rifle that sold knew for considerably less. Are you still the bad guy bc the market rate is only $1800? I've been on the OP's side of things not with 22 ammo but get hounded for asking the going price even though people think it should be much less.

And no I wont be buying any of his 22 ammo lol..

Guys don't really NEED a Ti 260 for their kids to learn how to shoot. Guys collect those now and I think it, too....is ridiculous.

And he's above the "going price". It is coming down and it's more available now. Hopefully he'll be stuck with it.

Hoarders up have ruined both the availability and price of .22 ammo for the last several years. I've got NO problem with someone buying a whole pallet of ammo for themselves if they've got a plan to shoot it and/or share with new shooters. But investing in .22LR ammo like it's the futures market is fresh green B.S. IMO. I'm glad to see clowns like Sweet Willie unloading his stash because it indicates the end may be in sight. No telling what the shelf price will settle at someday, but hoarders/speculators getting out of the game will surely help the shooters immediately.

I'm more pissed we've got a woman trying to destroy the country disguised as a man.
