By the way, I was at the Butte, Montana Wal-Mart at 5:30 A.M. this morning (after travelling 72 miles to get there) and when I asked at the "gun counter" if they had any 22 rimfire ammunition the nice but obviously diminished mental capacity clerk there laughed at me!
And he didn't even answer my question - he just laughed.
I had to check the shelves for myself and none was in sight.
About then another clerk came along and I asked her the same question, her laughter was not as pronounced as the first clerks but she replied "they had not seen any in a long time".
So..., if my memory serves me correctly I have not found any 22 long rifle hollow-points at a Wal-Mart in any of the states "I" have checked for them in 27 months now.
"SweetiePieBill" may be scalping ammo but I don't think he has gotten it recently at a Wal-Mart?
Hoping for better times, rimfire wise, in the future.

LGS had an add just befor Christmas that they received 7 pallets. Mostly CCI.

Mostly CCI. you guys out east have it made, none here in the midwest but I am still ok even though I have not bought any for about 15 years, still my brother in laws kids going thru a couple of thousand rounds every time they visit and what I have given to folks for their kids have made my pile go down quite a bit. Wouldn't have it any other way

This is how the ammo scalpers should be treated. I got sick of seeing the admins on most of the Facebook 'gun swap' pages protecting scalpers from being called out. I suppose because they started the site themselves as a place to sell their overpriced 22 ammo.
